Join us this Halloween for a full day of remembrance, celebration, community care, family fun, and music, all benefiting local wildfire recovery.
We're hosting a benefit for the River Warrior Society and the Community Cultural Center of Tonasket's Sinlahekin Fire Fund.
Come for the Lotion + Potion Faire, help build our community ancestor altar, gather for the Feast with Our Ancestors, take the kids around Tonasket trick-or-treating, and come back for live music and a costumed dance party at the Ancestor Ball.
Family Friendly Halloween at the Ancestor Ball

Lotion + Potion Faire + Silent Auction
Come dressed up with the whole family and support local makers and place a bid or two on the fabulous items at the silent auction while your kids make some magic at the Potion Station.

Build Our Ancestor Altar
Bring a photograph, flowers, or another remembrance of a departed loved one and add it to our community altar.

Feast with Our Ancestors
Gather around the table for a hearty community dinner and an opportunity to share about the people we're remembering. Then head out for trick-or-treating! Families can enjoy Halloween around town and come back for the costumed Ball.

The Ancestor Ball: Music + Dancing
Come back from trick-or-treating, or don your costume, and celebrate being alive with an evening of live music, dancing, and community.
Feast with Our Ancestors
At the heart of the Ancestor Ball is the Feast with Our Ancestors, a family tradition we're opening to our larger community.
At 4 PM, we'll begin building a community ancestor altar together. You're invited to bring a photograph of a loved one who has passed on, flowers, or another remembrance to add to the altar.
At 5 PM, we'll sit down together for our community feast provided by the Community Cultural Center.
Those who wish to participate will be invited to share memories or stories of a loved one they're remembering: make us laugh, cry, or simply help us know and remember someone who mattered to you.
Our simple intention is to make a place for one another to gather in the ancient human experience of loving, losing, remembering, and continuing to live.
Your Ticket Supports Wildfire Recovery
Proceeds after event costs will benefit two community-based relief efforts providing direct support to people affected by this year's fires.
River Warrior Society provides on-the-ground emergency relief and direct support to Indigenous families and communities affected by wildfires on the Colville and Spokane reservations. Their work has included financial and material assistance, food, water, gas cards, temporary lodging, supplies, support for animals and longer-term community recovery.
The Sinlahekin Fire Fund administered by the Community Cultural Center of Tonasket provides direct support to families affected by the Sinlahekin Fire in Tonasket, Loomis, and surrounding communities.
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute directly to the beneficiary organizations beyond your ticket purchase.

Adrian Xavier & Friends
Seattle reggae artist Adrian Xavier blends roots reggae, dub textures and global rhythms into uplifting music built for connection. Born in Seattle and raised while traveling throughout the West Coast, Adrian began his recording career with Pure Water, the band he formed with longtime collaborator Stuart Johnson in 1997. The group shared bills with major reggae artists including The Wailers and Jimmy Cliff before Adrian stepped forward as a solo artist.
BlueJay & Friends
Formally known as #DjSticky, BlueJay is the driving force, stable DJ, main producer and CEO of Sick Donkey Records. BueJay brings natural flow and contagious, conscious energy to his sound. BlueJay is known for bringing an array of talented guest MCs and singers to both his performances and original productions that have been heard in the majority of countries in the world.
Family Vibe
Family Vibe is a 5 piece band that has been playing in and around Okanogan County for the last decade. They play a backwoods, homegrown style of reggae consisting of all original songs with uplifting lyrics focused on love and unity.
