The Antisocial Saunter
Event description
Join us for The "Antisocial" Saunter - a relaxed, no-pressure stroll (hosted by our friendly founders of The Antisocial Socialites - Yolanda and Liz) purposely designed for those who prefer meaningful connection without the small talk overload.
The perfect opportunity to test out your networking skills in a relaxed environment while breathing in the sights and sounds of some London nature. We'll give you some handy conversation starters to get you going and help you build meaningful connections with the other fabulous "Antisocialite" networkers that will be joining you.
Feeling a little nervous? ... It’s funny, but walking side by side actually makes chatting feel so much easier (Science backs this up too!). You’re not locked into eye contact, so there’s less pressure - it feels more relaxed, like the conversation can just flow naturally. Plus, having something to look at (like trees, flowers or random squirrels doing their thing like the one we spotted on our recce) gives your brain little breaks, which somehow makes opening up feel a lot less intimidating. We've purposely designed this event (from the location to the activity and flow) so that everyone feels welcome and that they can come along.
MORE INFO ON TIMINGS & THE EVENT:
10,30am Arrival*
10.45am Start
*We'll meet at the Waterside Café at 10.30am, where you can enjoy beautiful lakeside views as we treat you to a coffee or a (non-alcoholic!) drink of your choice (hot or cold).
Please arrive on time for 10.30am, as we’ll set off promptly at 10.45am on a gentle one-hour walk through the nature and greenery of Regent’s Park. Halfway through, we’ll pause to soak in the beauty of the Rose Gardens - a perfect spot to unwind and chat with like-minded souls (and grab some great pics for socials - because let's face it, we business owners need to be visible!).
We’ll wrap up between 12:00 and 12:30 at Broad Walk Café (in Regents Park), where you can treat yourself to a lunch (they have a great selection of food) and you're welcome to join us for a relaxed lunch in the sun (or you can head off from here if you have your next meeting / event to get to).
This is an easy going way to get some “Vitamin Nature,” meet new people, and enjoy the calm that comes from simply walking and talking. Come as you are - introverts, ambiverts, the chatters, and the socially selective all welcome.

FAQs:
What's the dress code? -- Anything you're comfortable in whether that's your fave summery outfit and trainers, or gym kit and leggings for the walk. The main thing is that you're comfortable and can walk a gentle 1 hour walk in it!
What if it's raining on the day? -- We'll still be running the event - please bring along a rainproof jacket!
What if I'm nervous about meeting new people? --That's totally normal. And we get you. Message us through Humantix or LinkedIn and we'll introduce you to a friendly face or two on the day to help you settle in.
What if I book but can't attend on the day last minute? -- Send us a message to let us know. No refunds available however you can transfer the price of your ticket to a future Antisocial Socialites event subject to availability.
What if I'm going to be late? -- We meet at the Waterside Cafe at 10.30am, please arrive so we have enough time to treat you to a coffee/drink at the cafe before we start our walk at 11am. Due to the number of people coming, we won't be able to wait and will head off at 11am. Message us and we can share our location if you arrive after 11am.
What accommodations can you provide for neurodivergent attendees? --We're happy to work with you to make The Antisocial Saunter as comfortable as possible! We've purposely designed the day to be as relaxed and welcoming as possible. Some things we can offer is include quiet spaces for breaks (We'll include a pause in the quiet rose garden areas for example during the walk - the chance to get a bit of quiet time), advance information about the event schedule, a chance to speak to one of our founders to ask questions on what to expect or alternative ways to participate in activities. Every person's needs are different, so the best approach is to get in touch with us before the event to chat about what would be most helpful for you.
