Join us and learn the art of Chinese Calligraphy!
Wednesday 19 March, 10.30am - 12.30pm at Mona Vale Creative Space
Xueyi Bai has been a member of the Chinese Calligrapher’s Association since 1992, one of few in Australia, and her works have been featured in many major national exhibitions. Currently, Xueyi is a workshop presenter at the Art Gallery of NSW where she has taught hundreds of students.
In this workshop, you will be using rice paper, ink sticks, ink stone and brushes to paint Chinese characters on mounted rice paper.
You will learn the history, different scripts and also from the brush lines to the composition of the characters.
All materials will be provided.
$15.00 + booking fee
