The Art of Connection
Event description
Cacao Ceremony and Womens Circle
Beginning with a warm cup of Cacao, some light breathwork and meditation. Together we sink into stillness, take the time to reflect and connect to our inner wisdom. Journalling and a Sharing cirle give the opportunity for guided reflection and the practice of self-expression, holding space and being held. Sharing the threads of common experience that connect us as women; learning from one anothers’ wisdom.
What is a Women’s Circle?
A Women’s Circle is a confidential and safe environment to practice some ‘external processing’, the opportunity to share thoughts and insights after a period of guided reflection. You have the opportunity to express yourself without judgement or comment and to be seen in your vulnerability and power. We don’t ‘give feedback’ on each others' shares, we simply have the opportunity to hold space, listen and glean wisdom and insight about one another's experiences. You learn how to hold space for others and to allow space to be held for you but most importantly, it is a powerful practice in holding space for yourself.
You have the opportunity to build confidence in connecting with other women, and speaking out loud , building sisterhood by learning to love, accept and enjoy connecting in a deeper way. Learning to be authentic, open-hearted and non-judgemental.
What is Cacao?
An ancient medicine, first utilized by Aztecs and Mayans in Central and South America, the word “cacao” comes from the Mayan words “Ka’kau” meaning “heart blood,” and “Chokola’j” meaning “to drink together.” The Mayan's believed that their gods bled into cacao pods, and gifted them to their people. Cacao was considered one of the ingredients used to create humanity, and a key component in returning the planet to a state of harmony, opening the hearts of humanity.
We will be using Spirit cacao, responsibly sourced Criollo cacao from the Amazonian Region of Tarapoto, supporting the wajun (Aguaruna), Shipibo-Conibo and Ashaninka tribes.
This pure cacao bean paste is packed full of health restoring and consciousness altering properties! Cacao is jam packed full of dopamine, serotonin, theobromine, zinc, magnesium, iron, manganese and potassium as well as healthy fats that support our body in a plethora of ways. Cacao supports heart-opening and a uniquely expansive, peaceful and open physical and mental state. This facilitates time to go inwards, drop into the present moment and connect with self and one another. Cacao plays a beautiful role in energetic healing and gaining clarity in areas of love, intuition, personal growth, and purpose and is a fantastic sensory anchor when going inwards and tapping into our intuitive energy.
An evening of connection, filling up your own cup whilst enjoying a creamy cup of cacao! I look forward to sharing space with you! xx

"I have been a lifetime advocate of health and wellbeing. When I joined my first Women's Circle I saw the missing link in my Mental and Physical Health Journey; Community and Sisterhood. The incorporation of community connection into my life has not only greatly up-leveled my own health and satisfaction, but has exponentially increased the potency of my offerings to others.
I believe in facilitating spaces to allow people to do their own healing. I don't hold the answers, they lie within yourself. I am here as an intermediary, to support others in connecting to their deeper intuition and to their body and truest self. Women's circles have supported me in connecting more deeply to my femininity, developing my communication skills and ability to be and express my authentic self. They have enhanced my personal wellbeing, career, friendships and marriage and helped me to create more meaningful connections in my everyday life. I wish to facilitate a space for all women to access this love and fulfilment for themselves."
