The Art of Movement: A Workshop for Wellbeing
Event description
Discover the healing power of movement in this unique workshop led by dancer and Creative Arts Therapist Tanya Voges.
Inspired by the Dancer photographic exhibition—celebrating the rich and diverse history of dance in Australia—this workshop offers a space to explore the connection between movement, creativity, and mental wellbeing. Tanya will guide you through simple, expressive exercises that engage body, space, and time, helping you tap into new ways of understanding yourself and connecting with others. The photographs capturing the ephemeral nature of dance will serve as a springboard for embodied reflection and creative engagement.
No dance experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to move!
