    Event description

Have you struggled with crafting a powerful message or communicating with effectiveness?

If you find you speak ‘double-dutch’ or ‘goobedy-gook’, then this workshop is for you.

The Art of Persuasive Marketing through powerful marketing messaging provides insight into the intricate relationship between language and consumer behaviour.  This workshop endeavours to delve into the psychology behind effective persuasion, uncovering key principles and techniques that you can leverage to craft compelling messaging.  In this workshop you will:

    1. Understand the psychology of persuasion – Explore the foundational principles of persuasion such as Robert Cialdini’s 6 principles (reciprocity, scarcity, authority, consistency, liking and consensus) and how they can be applied in the marketing contexts.
    2. Crafting compelling messages – Apply the principles above to resonate with your target audience.  This includes understanding your audience’s needs, desires, and pain points, as well as employing techniques like storytelling, emotional appeal, and rhetorical devices.
    3. Building trust and credibility – Discuss strategies for building trust and credibility through language, including the use of evidence, testimonials, endorsements, and establishing authority as a thought leader in your industry.
    4. Adapting to Digital and non-digital channels – Explore how language strategies differ across various marketing channels and audience segments.  This includes tailoring language to suit different demographics, cultural nuances, and communication preferences.

This is a hands-on workshop where you will be expected to provide examples of current content for review and discussion.  Come armed ready to apply this content to your business marketing for effective and more powerful communications.
