The Art of the Heart
Description
You are registering for a series of FREE MEDITATION CLASSES held over four evenings.
It is better to join at the start of the week if possible because this is a progressive course.
Your registration covers the following FOUR sessions:
7:30pm - 8:45pm Monday 2nd November
7:30pm - 8:45pm Tuesday 3rd November
7:30pm - 8:45pm Thursday 4th November
7:30pm - 8:45pm Friday 5th November
We will start at the beginning with the basics – if you have no meditation experience you are very welcome to come along.
If you have tried meditation or want to develop your existing practice further you are also very welcome.
Our classes include the theory and practice of meditation, but we will spend more time on practical exercises.
Our practical exercises in each class focus on meditation in the heart centre.
The spiritual heart is the primary focus of the style of meditation we share because we have found it simplest to rediscover there the peace, light and bliss which is our birthright.
Inner peace, light and bliss is the solution for any thought, worry or anxiety which arises in the mind.
In partnership with our own higher self, meditation is the perfect starting point to refine our vision, thoughts and energy – this existence as we know it.
Over four classes, we will explore how the different parts of our being interact: our heart, mind, energy and body; along with strategies to support each of these parts of the being to grow and develop in harmony.
We will offer exercises you can take away and share tips on integrating meditation into your daily routine.
Most people find group meditation easier than meditating solo.
We will also do some mantra, or chanting, as a group.
It will create a resonance which makes it easier for us all to meditate.
This course will be led by Alf Zollo who has been practicing meditation for over 30 years.
You are welcome to call or SMS on 0478 366 000 if you have any questions.
By the way, we will be sitting in chairs, there is no need to bring anything.
There is a small carpark attached to the community centre and heaps of on street car parking available.
Thanks
