Paint what sets your heart on fire 🔥
Join the brilliant Yass-based artist Sara Phemister for a special, small-group workshop inspired by her new painting Wild, Precious Life - part of Tyger Gallery’s upcoming show Water’s Edge.
This creative and emotionally rich workshop invites you to explore and represent something that truly matters to you - something (or someone) that sets your own heart alight. It might be a place, a person, a memory, or even a future hope.
Together, we’ll gently turn that feeling into art.
Working with pencil, watercolour and oil pastel, Sara will guide you in composing a work that blends literal and symbolic elements - helping you connect with your own unique creative voice.
✨ No art experience needed at all - just a willingness to explore, express, create and have fun.
🖼 What to bring:
Bring along personal reference material that feels meaningful to you - this could include photos, letters, song lyrics, poems, recipes, or anything else that connects you to the story you’d like to tell.
🎨 What’s provided:
All art materials are supplied.
🌿 Who it's for:
Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting out, this workshop is designed to be warm, supportive and creatively freeing.
