Event description

Rachel Perkins's three-episode documentary details the extent and nature of massacres and first-nations resistance to colonization in Sydney, Tasmania and Queensland. It was the most-watched program on SBS in September 2022 and has won many prizes and been well received around the world. As the outgoing chair of the Australian War Memorial, Brendan Nelson announced the War Memorial would work towards including some form of commemoration of the Australian wars.
