The Bald Archy prize has become Australia’s most popular satirical portrait award. It encapsulates the irreverent, larrikin Australian spirit in a way that appeals to people from all walks of life and is now internationally known. Winning subjects have included Kerry Packer, Shane Warne, John Howard, Pauline Hanson and myriad other Australian icons.
Michael Mack is a widely exhibited self-taught artist who is a finalist in this years Bald Archy Prize with three works. Michael will be giving an exclusive Artist Talk at the Corowa Art Space, "My talk will be about how I was attracted to the Bald Archy, how it has assisted me with my art and how I approach the subject. I am already committed to another 3 for next year, with one already done. Too much fun!"

The Bald Archy Prize will be open from Saturday 7th September until Sunday 6th October at the Corowa Art Space. Entry is $5 for adults, free entry for children under 18. Opening times are Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm and on weekends 10am – 2pm.
