The Bar from Nowhere is the latest offering from the Hagley Theatre Company (HTC). HTC is a self-contained, independent training and performance programme attached to Hagley College in Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand. In 2018, the Company celebrated 30 years of providing expert, hands-on tuition and contemporary performance experiences to young people from all over the country. Artistic Director, Cameron Mattox, has a special gift for finding plays that are at the forefront of contemporary  theatre worldwide. The next generation of actors, some about to graduate from HTC, turn their talents to these cutting-edge works.The Bar from Nowhere is a collection of one-act plays written by American playwright, Theresa Rebeck, that the company has connected to the Bar from Nowhere. From demonstrating pieces of art, to the various personalities that inhabit the  Bar from Nowhere, you are certain to be taken on a wild ride with the characters and their stories. Come along to our little theatre in Edgeware and enjoy vignettes that you will recognise as part of life.
