Entry instructions
For people who use wheelchairs or with mobility disabilities, there is ramp and lift access from the Macquarie Street entrance to the Legislative Assembly Reception on level 7. Security officers will direct you to the entrance and a staff member will meet you and escort you into the building. Flat access is available from Reception to the Legislative Assembly Chamber where the event will be held, as well as the Public Café and Strangers Dining Room on level 7.

Head to the public reception desk and you will be guided to the space.

Toilet location
There are accessible public toilets on levels 6 and 7 at Parliament House. A Changing Places facility is available, and there is a parent’s room on level 7 with baby change facilities, comfortable chairs, a sink and a microwave.
Accessible parking
Drivers with a valid Mobility Parking Scheme Permit may be able to arrange accessible parking, subject to availability. All requests for parking must be made at least 24 hours in advance to dps.communications@parliament.nsw.gov.au.
Guide dogs and assistance animals
We welcome guide dogs and other assistance animals at Parliament House. Please ensure you have your animal’s accreditation pass available to present to staff on entry.
Signage
For people who are blind or visually impaired, there is signage with raised lettering in some areas of the publicly accessible areas of Parliament House.
