Event description

The Beatles' 1970 ballad "Let it Be" is their best-selling single, with over 6 million copies purchased. Naomi Shemer's "Lu Yehi," was one of 1973's most important and beloved Israeli songs . What are the backstories and messages behind these two hits? How are they related? In what ways do their themes overlap and contrast? Join us to explore the Beatles' connection with a key moment in Israeli music.
