Pack a picnic blanket, gather your friends and family, and join us for a wonderful day out as all of AdYO’s ensembles return for the Big Busk 2026!

After a year’s hiatus, the Big Busk is back for 2026. This festival is a free, relaxed celebration of music featuring every AdYO ensemble. From toe‑tapping favourites to pieces that gently tug at the heartstrings, AdYO has your day’s entertainment covered.

Each year Adelaide Youth Orchestras (AdYO) provides top music education programs and career pathways for South Australia’s brightest young musicians.

AdYO services and supports 300 young musicians participating each week during school terms a range of large ensembles (Youth Orchestra, Symphonic Winds, Wind Orchestra, Sinfonia, and Junior Strings), an exciting Percussion Ensemble, and smaller chamber groups. Since 2021, AdYO has supported more than 2,000 emerging young musicians to engage with our programs.
