The Black ADHD Conference
Description
The Black ADHD Experience Conference is a first-of-its-kind, three-day virtual conference centering the lived experiences, strengths, needs, and perspectives of Black ADHDers.
Taking place October 2–4, 2026, the conference brings together Black ADHD adults, parents and caregivers, educators, mental health professionals, healthcare providers, advocates, and community leaders for culturally responsive, neuroaffirming conversations about ADHD across the lifespan.
Live Attendees will hear from 10 Speakers and three 90-minute panel discussions exploring:
Mental Health — diagnosis and misdiagnosis, masking, burnout, identity, culturally responsive support, wellness, and healthcare
Education — IEPs, 504 Plans, discipline, accommodations, advocacy, school support, college transition, and the experiences of Black ADHD learners and educators
Couples, Family & Siblings — parenting, marriage, family dynamics, sibling experiences, communication, and supporting ADHDers within relationships
Sessions will address experiences that are too often missing from traditional ADHD conversations, including racial bias, code-switching, late diagnosis, Black masculinity and womanhood, gender diversity, military life, student-athletes, college transition, family systems, and the ways Black ADHDers navigate environments that were not designed with them in mind.
The Black ADHD Experience Conference is grounded in neuroaffirming, culturally responsive, anti-ableist, and lived-experience-informed practices. This is not a conference focused on fixing ADHDers or teaching compliance. It is a space for learning, reflection, advocacy, connection, and expanding what meaningful support can look like for Black ADHDers across home, school, healthcare, work, relationships, and community.
Live Conference Passes include access to live presentations, Q&A sessions, and all three panels.
All Access Passes include the live conference experience plus access to our 6 pre-recorded sessions, recordings of our live speaker sessions. and available speaker resources.
