The Early Doors Club at ST George's Church w/ The Bluetones (Acoustic) + Lucy Robinson
Description
The Bluetones (Acoustic), live at St George's Church
Friday September 18th, doors 5pm
The Bluetones need little introduction to anyone who lived through the 90s with a radio on. Formed in Hounslow back in 1993, they became one of the defining bands of the Britpop era, with their debut album Expecting to Fly going straight to number one and singles like Slight Return, Bluetonic and Marblehead Johnson turning into genuine anthems along the way.
This acoustic show strips all of that right back, with founding members Mark Morriss and Adam Devlin, the band's voice and guitarist for over thirty years, performing the songs the way they were often written. Expect two hours of classics, deep cuts, and plenty of the banter and storytelling that comes from three decades of doing this together.
It's a rare chance to hear one of Britpop's most enduring bands in a room built for exactly this kind of night.
