Seventy years ago this club opened its doors and against all odds were still here and still communty member owned.

We're celebrating seventy years of bowls, dances, raffles and a community that's kept the place alive!

Join us for the world premiere of The Making of the Bowlo — a short documentary about the club.

Tim Ross will host proceedings with his knowledge and wit on the 1950's there will be music, some food and drinks.

This is for everyone who's ever felt at home at The Bowlo.

On the night:

• World premiere screening — The Making of the Bowlo

• Some Food

• Speeches from the club's history

• DJ ALobar takes us on a journey through 7 decades of Bowlo music.

Tickets are a donation to help feed our special elders on the night descendants of the founders, and the lovely humans that have worked so hard to keep the club alive over the years.

Dress up a little if you like but not required.

Note This does not include not the Whitlam's gig.
