The BrainChild Ball 2025 | Filotimo
Event description
We are proud to present The Pirate Ship Foundation's 10th annual BrainChild Ball, Filotimo - Greece, on Friday 12th September 2025 in the Crown Ballroom at Crown Perth.
The Greek word FILOTIMO (pronounced fee-LOH-tee-mo) describes an attitude towards humanity. It means showing empathy, compassion and generosity without expecting anything in return.
“FILOTIMO to the Greeks is like breathing. A Greek is not a Greek without it” - Thales
We believe that by coming together to raise much needed research funds, we will be closer to discovering less harsh treatments for children impacted by brain cancer.
To date, the BrainChild Ball has raised over $3 million to further the vision of The Pirate Ship Foundation - happy healthy children free of brain cancer. Across the Foundation we are proud to target around 90% of funds raised being directed to research into the deadliest disease facing our children.
Tables of 10 are available for $3,750 and include a mouth-watering three course meal, premium beverages and stand-out entertainment.
Please join us for this year’s event on Friday 12th September 2025 in the Crown Ballroom at Crown Perth as we celebrate everything Greece!
