About the presenter

Alexandria (“Ali”) Sadler is a Senior Counsel in the Legislative & Regulatory Unit at the California Civil Rights Department. In her position, Ali analyzes and drafts legislation and regulations implementing California anti-discrimination law. She also staffs the California Civil Rights Council. Ali graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2018. She clerked for the Utah Supreme Court before starting her legal career as a legal aid attorney representing low-income youth and young adults. Ali has worked for the State of California since 2021 and has worked for the California Civil Rights Department since 2024.
