Expect an explosion of rhythm, vibe, culture and infectious energy with Rio Projekt’s live band, dancers, drummers, visuals and the most breathtaking designer costumes this side of Carnaval. With the soundtrack of Samba, Bateria (drums), Funk, Afro and some Pop fusion, The Carnaval Experience is guaranteed to ignite your heart and set your soul on fire!

Renowned worldwide as the trailblazers of Brazilian entertainment, the powerhouse Rio Projekt ensemble features a cast of artists who perform at an elite level in Rio de Janeiro Carnaval, Brazil, Australia and internationally.

Rio Projekt has been featured on major media such as Sunrise on 7, Channel 9’s Ninja Warrior and Globo TV (Brazil). 

BRIEF BACKGROUND:

Rio Projekt’s Artistic Director, Sashya Jay is an internationally acclaimed performing artist, award-winning Choreographer and Australia’s most recognised Brazilian dance director. Rio Projekt’s exceptional calibre is testament to the ensemble’s extensive work in Brazil and at the forefront of Brazilian entertainment in Australia since 2010.
