The Channon Riverbank: Planting, Tour, Tree Care & Bio Blitz
Description
This site was planted by a Community Planting Day during RiverFest 2025, and one year on it looks incredibly different! This event will have a bit of everything - we'll care for the existing plantings, do a little in-fill planting, have a tour of the site and discuss the impact this and sites upstream are having on the health of our creeks and their resilience to flooding, and participate in a bioblitz to contribute to the catchment-wide bioblitz being undertaken as part of RiverFest 2026.
