Christmas is meant to feel good. The buying frenzy, overwhelm and waste that can come with it? Not so much.

Join Nic - best-selling author and Christmas realist - for an evening of festive inspiration, hands-on making, and good company. Think less shopping, more ideas worth stealing, and a Christmas that's a bit simpler and a little lighter on the planet.

We'll get stuck into gifts, wrapping, decorations, food and all the other stuff that seems to multiply every December - finding smarter ways to slow down, buy less, reduce waste and enjoy the season more

On the night, expect:

Some proper hands-on making - create some beautiful hand-made gifts, learn simple wrapping techniques, and take home your own beautiful reusable fabric wrap
Nic's best ideas for simplifying gift giving, wrapping, decorating and food
Light refreshments while you make
A fresh take on what you actually need to buy this Christmas
Plenty of ideas to take home and try

Rethink Christmas. Make a few things. Have a good night out.

Suitable for ages 18+.

This event is supported by Tauranga City Council. Funding is from the Government’s Waste Disposal Levy, helping councils run projects that encourage reducing waste.
