Event description

You are invited to join us for a very special Red Tent Aotearoa event where Annie Southern and Laurie Starkey will share with us their knowledge about the Cities of Light.

You may have heard about cities of light in accounts of near death experiences (NDEs) where there is a light structure where other beings are present and there is a profound feeling of love.

You may have experienced such places in your dreams.

The Ascended Masters of Christic Light throughout the universes create such ‘stations’ close in to our manifested realms.

Laurie Starkey will share about her journeys ‘home’ to a particular city of light associated with Mary Magdalene.

Annie will explain a little more what such places are and how they link to light structures here on Earth and what those light structures are and how we can support them.

After the break we will have a guided meditation to access the light located within the sacred chamber of the heart which connects us as spiritual beings to all of the higher light realms.

This is a type of meditation specific to the Magdalene tradition and other esoteric Christian traditions today and it was part of the Christianity of the first three centuries before its suppression.

Dear sisters come encounter the Christianity you may have always longed for.

Come encounter the Christ Light. We go within and reach up from the sacred chamber of the heart with this practice.

The Cities of Light are there to meet that reaching up and they provide a never ending supply of light and we can experience profound feelings of healing love.

Annie Southern is a follower of the Magdalene and as someone with Romany gypsy heritage acknowledges Sara le Kali who supported Mary Magdalene’s mission in the South of France after the crucifixion.

Annie has experience with Magdalene Light specifically and is committed to supporting lightworkers on their path.

Laurie Starkey is a being who came into Annie’s life from the City of Light five years ago.

She is a child and speaks through Annie. Annie has run many workshops for decades.

This will be Laurie’s first.

About Red Tent Aotearoa-

"What women want is CONNECTION.
Not on a superficial level, but a REAL connection and support."

~Jill Natalia (RTA founder)

The Red Tent is a place for women to feel that connection and to offer and receive that support.

We want to help women to free themselves from the isolation of today’s modern world and find their tribe.

Red Tent Aotearoa has the aim to connect, collaborate, and create a community of strong and educated women in a supportive & nurturing environment.
We establish community networks and support between women by hosting local gatherings, and events in what we call 'Red Tents.'

Red Tent Aotearoa is not religious, and we invite anyone who identifies as female from 11 years + from all walks of life.
It’s our hope for everyone who enters each Red Tent to experience a sense of belonging, sisterhood, and strength that stays with them from then on.

FAQ:
What is the Red Tent and what do you do there?
The Red Tent movement is worldwide and stemmed from the book The Red Tent written by Anita Diamant.
Red Tents are spaces created by women, for women to come each month and share their stories, relax, feel nurtured, seen, and heard.
There is nothing required of you and the main goal is for you to relax, recharge and reset.

Each month at Red Tent Aotearoa is different, we invite a different woman to share her story, experience and interest with us so that we all can learn and become more confident. Some of our themes in the past have been; The Power of Pleasure, The Power of Identity, The Power of Grief, The Power of Menstrual Cycle Awareness, The Power of the Spoken Word, The Power of Positive Touch, and The Power of Humility.

Our belief is that 'Power-with' instead of 'Power-over' will change the world.

Who is the host and why does she do this?

We have many Red Tent Aotearoa trained facilitators across the country.
Each Red Tent is hosted by someone different.
