This 90-minute session encourages you to slow down, get hands-on with vintage materials, learn how to collage and connect with a creative space where art meets mindfulness. You will learn about the beauty and impact of collage, special techniques handpicked by a master of the craft, and dive into creating your own work using vintage materials. This highly sought-after workshop has been held at prominent venues, including the Queensland Museum, Brisbane Street Art Festival, and regional gallery Artspace Mackay!Â

About The Facilitator:
Madelaine Buttini is an award-winning Australian collage artist from Brisbane! Known for her stunning collage art pieces which have been showcased in New York, London, and across Australia. Madelaine's work has been used by the likes of Lana Del Rey and goop! She has collaborated with global brands such as Adidas, Abrand Jeans, The BBC, Elle UK and more. She won an Architectural Digest Award in 2021 for her 12-piece Zodiac collection with Prospect NY.Â

The Collage Collective hosts collage workshops around Australia. We want to help others reconnect with their creative-side through collage art. It is where mindfulness and creativity combines - build positive neural pathways to help reduce stress.
*Guardians accompanying children under 15 are welcome and are required to participate! Make it a memorable experience for families to bond and create together.
Please note: There are FREE sessions on both Saturday (9:30am to 11:00am/3:15pm to 4:00pm) and Sunday (9:30am to 11:00am). These are walk-in only and there are limited spots. The Saturday afternoon session is a challenge space to use scraps from throughout the day! Book a ticketed workshop session for artist insights.
