The Collective 2025 Group Exhibition

CALLING ALL ARTISTS

What does it mean to be part of something greater? This is your invitation to respond —creatively, honestly, and boldly.

Be part of our debut group exhibition exploring themes of unity, shared identity, multiplicity, and collective experience.

To enter the exhibition you just need to purchase an entry here. Just click on the JOIN THE COLLECTIVE 2025 button. You will be asked to enter information about yourself and your artwork at the checkout.

(Alternatively you can complete a paper copy and pay cash in person at the gallery from 10am - 2pm daily.)

Entry fee is $55 and allows each artist to submit up to 2 artworks each. Make sure you let us know about any special requirements for the display of your artwork (eg plinths, electricity, technology)

Delivery of artwork is the responsibility of the artist. Please deliver your work to Obsidian Bide: Art Gallery and Studio, located at Shop #9, 9 Toorbul Street, Bongaree between Friday 1/8/25 and Sunday 3/8/25 between 10am and 2pm.

All 2d work must be framed and ready to hang with D rings on the back (no wire thanks). Please let us know if you have any special requirements to display your work.

All mediums welcome. All career stages invited. Experimental, new media, and large-scale works encouraged. (No bird-themed submissions, please.)

The Collective 2025 invites artists to reflect on the many ways individuals come together: in harmony, in tension, in movement, or in resistance.

Whether it's a family, a community, a swarm, a protest, a ritual, or a network - collectives can empower, constrain, support, or transform.

This theme offers a rich platform for artists to explore personal, political, social, or spiritual interpretations of collective experience.
