DNJE is an event and touring company dedicated to pushing the culture foward and breaking boundaries through their brands such as The Sounds of Afrobeats Festival, and the newly created The Comedy Hive, which is a platform showcasing comedians of diverse backgrounds to a wider audience.

ASHLEY FILS-AIME
The Haitian born veteran, raised in Miami Florida has toured extensively throughout his career including international tours across Europe and Australia. He has also toured as the opening act for internationally renowned comedian, Pablo Francisco. He has featured on MTV's Sink or Swim and SiTV's Stand Up Comedy. Come see the story of how one of your favorite expats became a citizen of Australia.
SAMUEL GEBRESELASSIE
Samuel Gebreselassie is an award winning comedian whose act brings a critical and fresh voice to comedy and social commentary. He was born in Sudan to Ethiopian parents but spent the majority of his life in New Zealand and now he lives in Australia. This unorthodox upbringing shaped a perceptive of the world that’s unique and hilarious. In 2017 and then again in 2019, he won the coveted C.o.W Bell at the Comedy Out West Open Mic Competition put on by the Maribyrnong City Council as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. His passion for comedy began when he discovered “The Chappelle Show” whilst in high school.
SAM SILLA
Hailing from the UK and known for his confident and conversational style, Sam Silla is rapidly becoming one of Australia’s exciting new voices. Combining observations of Australian culture and politics with humour over his family and their roots, Sam has a rich repertoire of comedy gold. Making waves on the scene with a storytelling style that can relate on all levels, catch him live as he brings that energy to put you in stitches.
