The Commune 2021

What is The Commune?

The Commune is a group mentorship program for yoga teachers and healing arts practitioners of all levels and experience.My intent and purpose in creating The Commune is to offer affordable access to support, guidance, education, training and personal development for all those working in a healing capacity.

What I love most is how The Commune connects participants with a community of peers who support, encourage and challenge each other to be the best version of themselves.We work together for 12 months meeting each Sunday of the month for our 'Commune Call' (via Zoom) where we share openly and honestly about how we are travelling and practice listening and witnessing our fellow practitioners in a non-judgemental space.

Each month is a different module that focuses on what is most relevant for the group at that time.

Modules include :

Developing your teaching skills
Ceremony and ritual
Working with Prenatal/Postpartum clients
Practicing and teaching meditation
Exploring the anatomy of the meridian and chakra system
Connecting to your purpose as a practitioner
Developing your intuition
Self-care as a practitioner
Biomechanics and the anatomy of yoga
5 Element theory and acupressure

Mostly we tailor each month to what will be most beneficial for the individual and the group as a collective.I have found mentorship to be an integral aspect of my work in this field not only for the support and encouragement it provides but for accountability and the constant challenge for me to grow and evolve as a practitioner and also as a human.
I find the power of a group is invaluable for me to see where I need to improve and evolve and to also practice speaking honestly about what is worrying me, holding me back and where I need help.All the work we do together is available for you in an online school that is yours to keep permanently. You will have access to videos, tutorials, practices, manuals and other resources throughout the year.
