The Compass of Cabernet Masterclass

Coonawarra winemaker's Lauren Hansen (Penley Estate) and Sue Bell (Bellwether wines) are joining forces to guide this fascinating masterclass exploring the North, South, East and West of Global Cabernet.

Joining them on the panel are two guest presenters and self-confessed Cabernet tragics:

Bridget Raffal, Sydney based sommelier and venue owner at Where’s Nick wine bar in Marrickville. 2023 Sommelier of the year (AGFG), two time recipient of the Sommeliers choice award and Vice President of Sommeliers Australia.

Paul Hotker, consultant winemaker extraordinaire based in Langhorne Creek who has won almost every trophy and award going, including Halliday winemaker of the year, the Jimmy Watson and Max Schubert trophies.

Featuring 12 wines that epitomise varietal and regional identity, this masterclass will explore and compare the North, South, East and West of Global Cabernet - still the most important wine varietal on the planet.
