The Connoisseur Cabaret

The Connoisseur Cabaret is a carefully collated monthly event that seeks to entertain the overworked and overwhelmed people of Melbourne with the best of what creativity in this city has to offer.

Maroussia Vladi - writer, producer, story-teller - weaves a thought-provoking tale each month based on a unique and philosophical theme. Embedded throughout the night are meticulously selected acts from talented groups and individuals of Melbourne's creative community.

The Connoisseur Cabaret offers you a night out – midweek, mid-month – like no other! A show and a party all at once, this cabaret celebrates existential crisis, broken-hearts, chaos, let-downs, the randomness and the ‘meaninglessness' of life as a collective. Together, through storytelling, we can make this moment memorable … what can be more meaningful than that?

So don't miss a cabaret, held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month and starting on the 16th of December 2026. And, why a Wednesday, you ask? They're not called ‘hump days' for nothing … The Connoisseur Cabaret is determined to make Wednesdays the sexiest day of the week!

Remember, if you miss a cabaret, there may not be another one; the most important aspect to any live performance is you, the audience! Melbourne has talent, there's no question … but does it have YOU???

So, book your ticket, and let's start this exciting, cultural phenomenon in the year of the fire horse!
