Gender affirmation - whatever that looks like for you - is a vital, and often lifesaving part of trans and gender diverse people’s lives. It can be difficult to find out how much gender affirmation costs, especially when there are hidden costs that no-one talks about. Being able to pay for gender affirmation can be tough and not many people know their options. 

This workshop will provide you with information, resources and practical take-home activities to help you financially plan the gender affirmation process. By the end of the session, you will better understand the cost of gender affirmation, your relationship with money and what supports are around you. 

This session is run by Women’s Health In the North, 'Let’s Talk Money' Program and Your Community Health Preston. The session is led by a trans facilitator and is designed for trans and gender-diverse people and their allies.
