It's a tale of melodrama and unbelievable twists and turns, with the dentist in love, the demure wife, the passionate girlfriend, the murdered husband and the dental assistant who juggles in inns at night for extra cash!
The story takes in Sydney, New Zealand, Parramatta Lunatic Asylum and Darlinghurst Gaol, and ends in England.
About our speaker
Judith has a passion for Australian history, holds a Fellowship in Colonial History, is a Past President and is currently on the Council of the Parramatta & District Historical Society (over 30 years). She is a director of the Royal Australian Historical Society and its representative on the Federation of Australian Historical Societies. Judith has published 7 books and is the recipient of many awards including the Australian Bi-Centenary Medal and in 2011. She was awarded an OAM for services to history and heritage. Judith currently sits on nine boards and is president of two local community groups.
