The Darkest Night: A Winter Solstice Sound Healing & Acupuncture Evening

As the year turns toward its darkest point, join us for an evening of stillness, restoration, and renewal. The winter solstice invites us to slow down, release what we've carried, and welcome the light's gradual return.

Settle into a cozy, candlelit space as Joy, a licensed acupuncturist, offers gentle, restorative treatments. Fine needles are placed at calming points to ease tension, quiet the mind, and support the body's natural rhythms during the winter season.

As you rest, Stephanie will take you on a sound healing journey. Vibrations from crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and more will wash over you and guide you into a deeply relaxed state.

 These two ancient practices share one intention: to help you return to balance. Acupuncture gently invites your body to release tension and settle into rest, while the resonant tones of singing bowls and gongs carry your mind into a calm, meditative state. Together, they quiet the nervous system more deeply than either might alone.

In traditional Chinese medicine, winter is the season of stillness and restoration, a time to conserve energy and replenish what we've given. 

On the longest night of the year, this evening offers the space to do exactly that.

This will be a small group setting, space is very limited.

What to bring:

* A yoga mat, blankets, and a pillow or bolster, eye cover, anything to have a cozy space

* Comfortable, loose layers (you'll want warmth while resting)
