"The Darlings" Charity Virtual Trivia Night

The inaugural Rotary Club of Sydney Darling Harbour Virtual Charity Trivia Night is an informal online trivia and fundraising event aimed to connect Rotarians, friends, family and supporters in a fun and friendly way, for a great cause.

This year The Darlings have chosen to support the Uniting Harris Community Centre and other Rotary projects (which could include supporting women and children at risk, youth programs and homelessness in Sydney). The Uniting Harris Community Centre is an inclusive community hub, who work with individuals, families, groups, workers, students and the wider community to help with everything from family to cultural challenges. Funds raised will be going to support vulnerable people in the Pyrmont Community, providing them with emergency access to food and/or gift vouchers facilitating the exchange of goods and services among community members and local businesses.

Online trivia has been generously sponsored by Corporate Challenge Events https://www.corporatechallenge.com.au/

Prizes up for grabs include:

  • Online Trivia Voucher donated by Corporate Challenge Events worth $1650
  • Bottle of Yellow Tail Prosecco and some Lindt chocolates

$90.00 for a team of four

$100 for a team of five or more

$10 Correct Answer Tickets available (you might call them cheats)


General info:

In order to participate and communicate as a team, it is recommended that the team members should be together, in the same location. Otherwise, if you are not together, you will need to find your own solution (outside of the Zoom meeting) to talk between your team members such as phone, FaceTime, WhatsApp or another video conferencing platform for example. 

You will receive a Zoom link a few days out from the event and we will also ask for team members’ names and who the team leader is.

Full instructions will be provided at the beginning of the night by the trivia host. 

General instructions are the trivia host will share his screen when questions are being asked. Your answers will be submitted through an online form, which will also be shared at the beginning of the night.
