    Matt Press
    Executive Director of Compliance and Dispute Resolution for SafeWork and NSW Fair Trading 
    Matt leads the operational teams across NSW that ensure safety in workplaces and buildings. Matt has spent his career working in regulation for both regulators and regulated businesses across a range of sectors. Matt’s focus for the last 10 years has been building and construction, with his most recent role leading the Office of the NSW Building Commissioner.

    Professor Mike Kagioglou
    Dean, School of Engineering Design and Built Environment at Western Sydney University
    Mike's career spans Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, Architecture and the Built Environment, engaged in inter and multidisciplinary research at a global level. Mike has taught in product design and development, manufacturing and production systems, lean construction and management, among other subject areas. He has been involved in more than £25m of research across many funding agencies in the UK and Europe.

    Brad Walters
    Head of Product & Rating Services at Equifax 
    For the last 25 years Brad has advised banking institutions, insurance organizations, large corporations and Government Departments on the due diligence of building and construction industry participants and supply chain risk management. This has included thousands of due diligence reviews, rating engagements, verification audits and insurance eligibility risk assessments. Brad leads Equifax's ratings business and is the chair of the iCIRT Industry Group, which comprises representatives across the public and private sector, working together to restore confidence in construction.

    Matthew Whitton
    Director, Building & Construction Compliance at NSW Fair Trading
    Matt Whitton is a passionate and committed Director, Building & Construction Compliance within the Better Regulation Division and is responsible for coordinating NSW Fair Trading’s response to compliance issues within the building sector. Matt’s expertise is broad encompassing customer service, compliance and investigation functions throughout his career in both the private and public sector. Matt has extensive experience as a government regulator, particularly in the property and building sector. In 2018 Matt took carriage of the building sector to bring about awareness and increase compliance in the building industry.
