Please join Friendship Circle Education and The National Council of Jewish Women of Australia NSW for a special evening "The Disorganised Child" - an evening of insightful learning where a panel of experts from diverse fields answer today's most pressing questions about raising and working with active children.

International Keynote Speaker Professor Samuel Stein, BA MBBCh FRCPsych ACFM GDL LL.M. BTPT. 

Professor Stein qualified as a doctor in 1986 and completed his specialist psychiatry training in Oxford, Cambridge and London. In 1997 he was appointed as a Consultant in Child, Adolescent and Family Psychiatry and has over 20 years of experience as a psychiatrist. Professor Stein is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and I was Vice-Chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Special Committee on Human Rights. Professor Stein was previously the Clinical Director of a very successful child and adolescent mental health service, and remains actively involved in medical management nationally. Professor Stein has published several textbooks and journal articles which focus on young people with subtle neuro-developmental difficulties and is the author of "Disorganized Children: A Guide for Parents and Professionals"

Panel Members:

Associate Professor Natalie Silove in the discipline of Paediatrics and Child Health, University of Sydney and Senior Lecturer (Conjoint) at the School of Psychiatry, UNSW. Natalie is also the Head of Child Development Services at Westmead Children's Hospital. Natalie has over 20 years of experience with children and young people with special needs including Autism Spectrum Disorders and ADHD. 

Dr Sharon Greenberg BA(Hons) and MA Clinical Psychology from UCT Cape Town, PhD University D'Ottawa Canada. Dr Greenberg is currently the manager of Psychological Services at Moriah College and has over 16 years of experience working in the Sydney school system.

Caroline Basckin, BA (Psychology), HDIpED, BEd (Specialised Education), MEd (Special Education). Caroline currently works in learning and enrichment at The Scots College in Sydney and is a PhD (Special Education) candidate at UNSW.
