Join us at Tyger for The Drawing Room, our relaxed Sunday afternoon life drawing series in the warmth of the gallery.

Led by Tyger artist Sara Phemister and featuring experienced life model Tori Addams, these sessions are open to all levels. You don’t need to be an experienced, polished or confident sketcher. You just need to show up, pick up a pencil, and give yourself a couple of hours to make something.

These are not formal classes. Think of them more like gently guided creative sessions in the gallery, with Sara keeping the rhythm flowing through a range of poses and offering friendly support and tips along the way.

There’s no pressure and no experience needed. Just two nourishing hours of drawing, looking, slowing down and making art in good company, with a refreshment break midway, courtesy of Tyger.

We’ll provide everything you need: paper, pencils and a clipboard. You’re also very welcome to bring your own favourite drawing materials if you’d like.

Whether you’re a seasoned sketcher, a nervous beginner, or just curious to give life drawing a go, you’re warmly welcome.
