THE DUKE'S 4TH BIRTHDAY! DAY 1

It’s The Duke’s 4th fucking Birthday! To celebrate 4 years of music, art, and a rockin’ good time, we’re putting on two nights of unmissable performances.

The celebration kicks off Friday 18th of October, with a powerhouse lineup of local talent. Headlining are BODY TYPE, a post-punk quartet, with a mammoth following, whose scuzzy rock sound has electrified stages across the city. They’ll be joined by LADY LAZARUS whose fierce blend of grunge, punk, and riot-grrrl is as unapologetic as it is captivating. Their Halloween-themed single release, “Hannah Banana”, is a celebration of queer love, and the band invites everyone to dress up and get in on the spooky fun. Also joining the bill are ARSE, ready to bring their trademark intensity to The Duke’s stage. As a band, they are totally devoted to the crowd – it’s loud, it’s brash and totally in your face!
