The music of the Eagles - they covered so much stylistic territory! Starting as a country rock band with hits like “Take It Easy” and “Lyin’ Eyes”, moving through disco and soul with “One Of The Nights” and “The Long Run”, and establishing themselves as one of the greatest rock bands ever with “Heartache Tonight”, “Life in The Fast Lane”, “Already Gone” and of course “Hotel California”, among many others.

The Album Show’s “Eagles - Up Close” show deconstructs all of the genre hopping, leaving us with a semi acoustic, raw re-imagining with a 5 piece, including upright double bass and pedal steel guitar, and 4 vocalists, the show allows us to really appreciate their timeless melodies and harmonies are.
