The early childhood approach for children younger than 9

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

We would like to invite you to an information session about the change to the age range for children supported by the NDIS early childhood approach.

As a result of the ECEI Reset consultation, from 1 July 2023 the age of children supported under the early childhood approach changed to include children younger than 9. Previously, the early childhood approach supported children younger than 7.

Changing the age to include children younger than 9, ensures children and their families and carers are supported during and after their transition to primary school.

These sessions are targeted to attendees located in early childhood partner areas and will focus on the supports that are available for children younger than 9.

Sessions are delivered via video-conference using Microsoft Teams, and are offered over multiple dates to allow flexibility for attendees.

Each session covers the same content, and attendees should only register for one session.

Registrations close one business day prior to the session date or once tickets have sold out. We only accept individual registrations for events to ensure all attendees receive links to join.

The day before the event, login details will be sent to the email address you provide at registration, so please ensure you enter your email address correctly when registering.

Accessibility is important to us. If you have accessibility requirements, please advise when registering. A minimum of five business days' notice is required to book Auslan interpreters and live captioning services.

Please note: If you have requested accessibility services, these services are provided by an external provider. Your personal details will be given to the Accessibility Service at the time of booking.
