This Program is for parents and carers of children 4 to 11 years.

This Parenting Service is funded by the Department of Communities to support parents and carers of children who reside in the local government areas of Mundaring, Swan, Bassendean & Bayswater.

Emotion coaching strengthens the relationship and sets the foundation for lifelong emotional connection.

Learn practical, evidence-based tools to support your child in understanding and regulating their emotions

This 3-week interactive program we will explore;

-Explore the 5 steps of Emotion Coaching through real-life examples, group discussions, and hands-on activities

-Practice techniques to support your child through big emotions like anger, worry, and sadness using role plays and guided reflection

-Discover how to become your child’s “safe base” by building emotional connection and trust through small, everyday moments

-Connect with other parents, share stories, and take away tools you can start using at home right away
