Event description

The Euterpe Project presents their premiere historically informed concert series—The Muse's Delight. This program was devised by emerging artists, countertenor Michael Burden and flautist Jacob Lawler, exploring works from the early 18th century Baroque era for the countertenor voice and the one-keyed flute. From well-known arias and sinfonias by Handel, Vivaldi and Purcell, to lesser known suites and airs by Boussët, Le Camus and Couperin—this program will treat audiences to a truly cosmopolitan musical feast. Long lost gems sparkling alongside venerated classics, all presented on period instruments in conjunction with historical performance practice.
