Mindgardens is pleased to present the seventh edition of the MindLabs Psychosis Webinar series for 2025, The Expanding Frontier of Immunopsychiatry, presented by Dr Adith Mohan.

 

Speaker

Dr Adith Mohan is a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist and Clinical Director of the Neuropsychiatric Institute (NPI), Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney. He is also a Research Fellow with the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) and a Conjoint Senior Lecturer with the School of Psychiatry, UNSW.

His current research interests include clinical care implementation and evaluation in Functional Neurological Disorders (FND), Functional Cognitive disorders, transcriptomics of human brain ageing as well as therapeutic neuromodulation and novel treatments in neuropsychiatric disorders.  He is the Chief Investigator on a clinical research program investigating a novel interdisciplinary clinical program in FND and is currently leading the establishment of a world-first clinical consortium for FND clinics in Australia and New Zealand.

He is actively involved in the Section of Neuropsychiatry (SoN) of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, is the jurisdictional representative for the state of New South Wales on the SoN, and is currently involved in the development of a competency based training curriculum for Neuropsychiatry. Dr Mohan is Project Lead for Mindgardens Neuroscience Network’s Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) Clinic.

Dr Mohan will be joined by co-presenters Emily O’Keefe and Matthew Lennon.
