WHAT IS THE FAMILY SUPPORT VILLAGE?
The Family Support Village is PPP Network’s business and community networking programme for people whose work supports family life.
It brings together the people working across pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, health, education, employment and community services, alongside businesses that want to contribute to that village.
You might work directly with families every day. You might run a local business, lead a community organisation, support working parents or have an idea for a useful collaboration.
This is a place to meet, understand what others do and explore what could happen when those connections become familiar.
You don’t need to be an existing PPP partner to attend. Everyone who shares the event’s family and community purpose is welcome.

The Family Support Village brings together people whose work touches family life. Our founding season is your invitation to become a familiar face around the table and give promising connections time to grow.
ONE PASS. TEN GATHERINGS. A FULL YEAR OF CONNECTION.
Your pass includes admission for one adult to all ten Moreton Bay gatherings from February to November 2027.
Come with an idea, a question, something you are working on or simply an interest in meeting the people around you. You do not need a polished pitch to begin a useful conversation.

Business owners, service providers, educators, community organisations and people supporting mothers, children and families.
HOW THE MORNING WILL WORK ✨
We’ll begin with a welcome and Acknowledgement of Country, followed by brunch and facilitated networking.
There will be time to introduce your work, meet other attendees and enjoy conversations around the table, alongside an invited presentation.
We’ll introduce The Family Support Village’s 2027 season and share the purpose behind the Lionel Thomas Loss Season Fund, including the Christmas donation drive supporting the planned 2027 service.
Come with something you’d love to discuss, a collaboration you’re curious about or simply an interest in meeting the people around you.
CONNECTION WITH A PURPOSE 💗
100% of The Family Support Village event profits go to the Lionel Thomas Loss Season Fund.
Created by Caitlyn Hudson in honour of her son Lionel Thomas, the Loss Season programme is planned to provide eight weeks of practical support for families navigating pregnancy or infant loss.
That support can include help with meals, household tasks, care for other children and coordination of an agreed care plan. Ten fully funded Loss Seasons are planned each year from 2027, with places arranged individually.
Your attendance contributes to the Fund through the event’s profits.
Event profits are the amount remaining after event costs have been paid. This is not the same as donating the full ticket price, and an event ticket is not a tax deductible donation.
Additional participation in the donation drive is optional.

BRING YOUR WORK INTO THE CONVERSATION 🤝
You might leave with a useful introduction, a better understanding of a local service or a conversation to continue in the new year.
Perhaps you have a venue to offer, an idea to explore, knowledge to share or a service another organisation has been looking for.
There will be opportunities to ask about becoming involved through future gatherings, presentations, partnerships, sponsorship or venue support.
Attendance gives you a place in the conversation. Specific partnerships and opportunities are discussed and agreed separately.
LOOKING AHEAD TO 2027 📅
The planned Moreton Bay season runs on the first Thursday of each month from February to November 2027.
Interest in future gatherings is also being collected by town and area across Queensland and the Northern Territory.
A season pass is planned, with pricing and inclusions to be announced separately.
Your Christmas event ticket covers this gathering only. It does not create a subscription or automatically enrol you in future events.
