You will also hear from community groups about the local action happening in your neighbourhoods. Saul will be in conversation with journalist, broadcaster, columnist, author, playwright and comic performer Wendy Harmer.

Saul Griffith
Saul is an engineer and entrepreneur specialising in clean and renewable energy technologies. Saul has founded a dozen technology companies across 20 years in Silicon Valley. Saul has recently turned his attention from Otherlab, his independent Research and Development lab, to policy work and writing, including founding Rewiring America, Rewiring Australia and Rewiring Aotearoa, non-partisan organisations dedicated to electrification and decarbonisation. Saul is an Honorary Professor of Practice with the School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wollongong.
Wendy Harmer
In a career spanning four decades, Wendy has found success as a journalist, columnist, radio broadcaster, TV host, author, playwright and comic performer.Wendy was a pioneer for women in media as host of ABC TV’s “The Big Gig” and as the headliner in radio 2Day FM’s “Morning Crew” which dominated Sydney radio ratings for 11 years. She was the co-presenter of ABC Sydney radio’s breakfast show with Robbie Buck until 2021.She is the author of some 30 fiction books for children, teens and women, and is currently writing a new novel.Wendy is married to Brendan, they have two children and have lived on Sydney’s Northern Beaches for the past 30 years.
