VIP Tickets Include: • VIP Check-in at 12:00 pm • Pre-tasting discussion at 12:15 PM presented by the LA Vintners. Long before Napa and Sonoma, by the mid-1800s, Los Angeles was a prolific and innovative wine region with more than 100 wineries making over 25 million bottles of wine per year at its peak. Secular vineyards in what are now Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, La Cañada and Downtown L.A. were the epicenter of commercial winemaking, not just for California, but the entire nation and even Europe. So important was winemaking to this region that the first County and City seal was a cluster of red wine grapes. It is in the context of this long-forgotten history that the L.A. Vintners Association comes together to return a culture of winemaking to “The City of Vines.”Today many of those vineyards are gone, but not all of them. The Los Angeles Vintners Association is dedicated to reviving and revitalizing the rich history of Los Angeles vineyards, winemaking, and highlighting the true potential of Los Angeles terroir. Enjoy a presentation by the LA Vintners Association as they share their passion for Los Angeles wine and learn about the historic, almost forgotten, vineyards where they source their forgotten grapes, including Albariño, Treixadura, Godello, Loureiro, Tannat, Tempranillo, and Mourvèdre. • Early VIP entry into the Tasting Arena up to 60 minutes before General Admission ticket holders • The Festival of Forgotten Wine Grapes commemorative wine glass (one glass per person) • FREE delivery of any wines you order at the Festival of Forgotten Grapes • Early access to Gourmet Food Trucks (food purchases are separate) • Receive a 20% Discount Code for purchases made on www.vingardevalise.com • Receive a 15% Discount Code for purchases of a Coravin system • Receive 10% off any one-time purchase online at The Chocolate Dispensary. VIP ticket holders will also receive a coupon for a free chocolate tasting (daily or weekly walk-in on Wednesdays). • Copy of 2025 Slow Wine Guide ($25 value)
