The First Shot Raffle

One moment. Four courts. Eight hoops. Eight names in Wesley history.

Before thousands of games are played and countless points are scored, there will be just eight people who can say they took the very first (official!) shot on Wesley's new basketball courts in the Centenary Building.

On Saturday 7 November 2026, at our home PSA fixture, eight lucky winners will be invited onto the courts to take these ceremonial first shots and become part of Wesley history. No basketball talent is required. Just a willingness to step up, take your shot and be part of a once-in-a-generation moment.

Our winners will be selected via raffle.

Each winner will receive:

• The opportunity to take one of the first ceremonial shots on the new basketball courts

• Their name recognised on a permanent plaque to be installed on the court

• A commemorative ‘First Shot' certificate

• A lasting place in Wesley's history

Tickets are $25 each, with all proceeds supporting the Wesley College Building Fund. You can purchase as many tickets as you like! They will be on sale from Tuesday 13 to Friday 30 October.

The raffle will be drawn on Monday 2 November and winners will be notified by telephone that day with full details of the event.

Please note: you must be 12+ years to purchase a raffle ticket.
