Session 3 | Financial Planning and Investment: Common questions and hot topics | John Ryan

While the foundation of a systematic financial plan and supporting investment framework don't really change, the questions clients ask do. John will provide commentary on questions he is seeing, as well as investment insights, that will assist your conversations with clients as their trusted adviser.

John is a principal and adviser at Capital Partners Private Wealth Advisers. His formal education is in economics and mathematics. John’s interest is in the economics of good decision making.

Session 4 | Small business CGT concessions: Common issues and a succession planning strategy | Daniel Taborsky

The small business CGT concessions can be tricky, with many potential pitfalls. This session will look at some common issues that arise and discusses a strategy for using the concessions in a succession planning context where they wouldn’t normally be available.
