Event description

Devonshire Tea
🗓 Thursday August 21st
🕗 10:30am
📍 The Freedom Hub Café, 283 Young Street, Waterloo

Enjoy a traditional Devonshire Tea (scones, jam and cream) and help raise funds to support social enterprise The Freedom Hub - helping survivors of modern slavery in Australia rebuild independent, successful lives.

Proudly supported by the Manly branch of the Country Women's Association NSW, the morning will consist of connection, collaboration and raising funds for an important cause.

While you enjoy delicious handmade scones, you will hear from guest speakers Human Rights and Modern Slavery Expert Jess Irwin and NSW Survivor School Team Lead Grace Ntreh as they share the latest in Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery statistics in Australia and how The Freedom Hub provides life-long support for survivors.

Tickets are $25 per head and include 2 x scones, jam and cream, ethically sourced tea or barista made coffee using beans that save child soldiers.

100% of profits from the event will go towards The Freedom Hub Survivor School. If you're unable to attend please consider donating instead or purchasing a ticket for a friend - every dollar counts!

We hope to see you there!
