    Event description

Hosted at Powerledger HQ, this West Tech Fest sundowner includes a panel discussion with leaders and innovators from across the Blockchain community. Join other guests and the Powerledger team in this insightful networking event.

There has been an explosion of new cryptocurrencies and blockchains across the globe, with the CapEx of many cryptos exceeding the totality of the Australian Stock Exchange. With the recent news that the Commonwealth Bank is offering crypto services to customers, we ask our panellists: What is the future of Blockchain? How can it be used for good and disintermediation?

What can we expect to see? Will adoption by mainstream banking and financial institutions become a norm? What does this mean for crypto investing? Is there a generational shift from retail investing to crypto investing? And with all this talk about green Bitcoin - how green is the blockchain? What can we do to make it more sustainable?

All these questions will be explored as we deep dive into the future of Blockchain and how Blockchain can be a force for good.

Dr Jemma Green, Chairman & Co-Founder, Powerledger
