The Future of Inclusive and Multi-Diverse Technologies

This event has passed Register

Event description

Can we create open and interconnected ecosystems where anyone has equal access regardless of ability? Can we align ability and technology to help individuals to actually perform, not just "be fitted"?

Join Spark FestivalRemarkable and Forestlyn for a fascinating and important conversation with renowned diversity technologist Yonah Welker to discuss the future of inclusive and multi-diverse technologies.

In this 45 minutes session, we'll be covering:

  • Reshaping “problems & representation”: Why diversity is the only way to build particular startups
  • Reshaping binarity: Rise of niche startups, neurodiverse platforms and 1 for 1 (inclusive) design
  • Reshaping inclusive technology: Why inclusive tech failed and how to adapt it to the venture game
  • Reshaping emerging technologies and ethics: How do we include ethical considerations for all human abilities in new emerging technologies?

Please join us in this thought-provoking discussion to reimagine ability, technology and ethics.
